Most instances will open a window after talking to their responsible NPCs, these inform their required level, bosses and rewards, in addition they also offer the choice of using the matchmaking system, allowing players to form temporary parties with unknown players. The matchmaking system is subject to instance level restrictions and isn't available for legend raids.

The matchmaking system offers different queue options, but similar rules apply to all of them. Parties formed by the matchmaking system can only have 5 players. The system will assign new players joining the queue to groups based on how long their waiting time and level. If the group reaches 5 players it will enter an instance on the instance server. An option is provided to enter with less members through the Match 2-4 option, however all players in the group must accept the condition to enter. It takes 2 minutes of waiting to enter with an incomplete party, based on the player that has the highest queue waiting time.

Auto Match Enters the matchmaking system individually.
Auto Match with Party Forms a queue unit, other party members in the same map will receive a notification while being assembled and can join the unit by using the same option, clicking on the button after joining will start the queue for the entire unit. The Match 2-4 option can't be changed once the unit enters the queue.
Enter Now Send the character directly into the instance, other party members that use this option will join the same instance. This option can't be used outside party status.

Both auto match options applies an EXP bonus to all characters inside the instance.
