Depending on the content an copy of the map will be created for a single party or guild to use, any player that isn't associated with those groups won't be able to enter the map, instead it will be sent to a different copy of it, these are known as instances and allow content to be done without external interference.
Basic Rules[]
Since instances are temporary copies of maps they operate under their own rules.
Binding | The defining element for the instance assignment is either a party or guild and only those can enter the instance, the game will prevent partyless characters to enter instances. Player that left or changed party while inside the instance won't be expelled from the instance, however they will lose the ability to re-enter it, the only way to recover that ability is by joining the previous party while the instance is still active. |

Entry | It is common for instances to be daily or weekly based, having a maximum number of times it can be entered under these restrictions. Players can re-enter instances while they remain active, however the ability to retry an instance is limited to those that provide rewards upon conclusion. Daily based instances are applied to the character count while weekly based instances apply to the team. |
Creation | Instances are created once the first member enters it. At this point the instance will start regardless of how many players haven't joined, depending on the instance it will have a short preparation time that will be triggered first. |
Persistence | At least one player has to be inside the instance in order to keep it active, being destroyed if the defeat conditions are met or the instance is left alone. There's a variable time window in which the instance can be re-entered before destroyed, however it is unreliable and inconsistent. The only exception to this rule is challenge mode as it operates with a timer component. |
Completion | Most of instances will only distribute rewards, to all characters inside, when the victory condition is met. Only those that got rewards will have their entry validated, the remaining players will be able to try it again as if they never did it. |
